Construction has begun on the Loyal Heights Play Area, located at 2101 NW 77th St.
The play area is expected to be finished in early May 2021. The renovation project will bring new play structures and equipment to the area, including slides, swings, and climbing features. There will also be new picnic tables, benches, accessible pathways, and a water fountain installed in a new plaza in the play area.
The project is also planning to update and improve safety and accessibility for children of all ages and abilities.
