Ballard FC tickets now on sale for inaugural season

Ballard’s homegrown soccer team, Ballard FC, is now selling single-match tickets for their first season kicking off in May.

Former Seattle Sounders player Lamar Neagle and Ballard High School graduates Sam Zisette and Chris Kaimmer co-founded the team.

“We are truly a club by the community and for the community and we are so excited for what is ahead,” Zisette told My Ballard.

Season tickets have already sold out, but single-match tickets are now on sale for their inaugural season. All games will be held at the Interbay Stadium, with eight home matches on the schedule through July.

Tomorrow (March 3), the founders will be at the National Nordic Museum from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. selling Ballard FC merchandise and talking about the club.Entrance to the museum will be free tomorrow as part of their first Thursday program.

The club is also holding tryouts for players this weekend. All players 16 years and older are eligible to try out on Saturday or Sunday (March 5 and 6) at Interbay Stadium (1649 W Barrett St). For more information on tryouts, visit the Ballard FC website.
