Metro reduces trips due to workforce challenges

A number of King County Metro trips have been canceled due to ongoing workforce challenges.

Metro announced the changes in an email to riders earlier this week, with the following canceled trips affecting Ballard and nearby residents:

  • Route 15 Northbound
    • 5:20 PM from 4th Ave S & S Jackson St (Island Stop)
  • Route 18 Northbound
    • 4:00 PM from 4th Ave S & S Jackson St (Island Stop)
    • 5:30 PM from 4th Ave S & S Jackson St (Island Stop)
  • Route 18 Southbound
    • 6:29 AM from 24th Ave NW & NW 85th ST
    • 7:58 AM from 24th Ave NW & NW 85th ST
  • Route 28 Northbound
    • 7:00 AM from 4th Ave S & S Royal Brougham
  • Route 28 Southbound
    • 8:02 AM from 8th Ave NW & NW 97th St
  • Route 45 Eastbound
    • 4:40 PM from LOYAL NW  NW 85 ST
  • Route 45 Westbound
    • 4:00 PM from Sand Point Way NE & 4th Ave NE
    • 5:31 PM from Sand Point Way NE & 4th Ave NE
  • RapidRide D Line Northbound
    • 6:43 PM from Prefontaine Pl S & Yesler Way
  • RapidRide D Line Southbound
    • 5:23 PM from NW 100th Pl & 7th Ave NW
