The vacant former Ballard Blossom building (1766 NW Market St) just went back on the market, signaling that the plans for a hotel may have fallen through.
Ballard Blossom moved to NW 85th St in 2019 when their building was sold to developers who planned to construct a 7-story boutique hotel. The owners put the hotel plans on hold during the pandemic, and Ballard Blossom morphed into a space for pop-ups and art run by the Ballard Alliance.
But now, the hotel plans seem to be dissolving, as the building is now back up for sale for $8.3 million.
