Amazon has filed plans for a business called “Amazon Market” in the former New Seasons location at 951 Ballard Way.
A recent boiler inspection certificate from the City of Seattle shows the name Amazon Market for the space. Amazon does not have any physical locations with that name, suggesting that this may be a new venture for the tech company.
The news comes just weeks after Amazon closed its Fresh Pickup location on 15th Ave NW.
