The cafe/restaurant Watson’s Counter has closed its doors on 15th Ave NW.
Owner James Lim opened Watson’s Counter—a Korean restaurant serving specialty coffee—in 2019 at 6201 15th Ave NW.
The new location is still under wraps—Lim says he’s months behind where he wanted to be in terms of relocating. “These processes can get real complicated as I’m sure you’ve seen many of our brothers and sisters navigate these rough waters. Permits, delays, materials, delays, contractors, delays, so on and so forth,” he wrote in an Instragram post.
On the new location, Lim says, “We’re trying to keep things a bit low key until we can provide anything of substance.”
