Chase Bank on 15th and Market to close this month

The Chase Bank branch at 1448 NW Market St will be closing on November 29.

The news comes not long after Target announced the closure of its Ballard store; Chase Bank operates out of the same building.

Jared Lopez who works at that location says there’s not enough foot traffic in the area to facilitate staying open. The nearby branch at 5511 22nd Ave NW will remain open, and all existing customers will be directed to that location.

Lopez said the ATMs will also be closing, and said he expects they’ll be turned off when the branch closes on Nov. 29.
