Station 18 Drinks & Eats is closed, and it’s now up for sale.
The owners posted the sale on their website with an email address for interested parties to contact.
Station 18 opened in September 2021 when co-owner Kate Barrett—who also owns Kate’s Pub in Wallingford—joined forces with business partner Erik Nilsen to take over the former Hi-Life building.
This is the third business that occupied the former firehouse in the past two decades: Hi-Life was there for 15 years (2004-2019) and turned into a short-lived Italian restaurant named Valentinetti. After being open just one month, Valentinetti closed, and the space was vacant for over a year.
When Barrett and Nilsen took over, they envisioned creating a community gathering space with great food and drinks.
