H Mart will open its new store in Ballard in early June.
H Mart is an Asian grocery store chain taking over the former New Seasons location at 951 NW Ballard Way. The company announced that it will open on June 5 at 10 a.m.
After New Seasons closed in 2019, the 25,000-square-foot location was slated to be a new “Amazon Market” store, but plans fell through.
The new H Mart will have a deli counter, a K-Beauty section, and an Artbox store selling lifestyle goods, gifts, and home essentials.
H Mart also has stores in Lynnwood, Redmond, and Tacoma.
