Tumbles, a new gym for kids, is coming to the corner of 24th Ave NW and NW 57th St.
Tumbles is taking over the former Fitness 19 gym (5680 24th Ave NW), which closed in 2024 after 13 years in Ballard.
Tumbles, a children’s activity center franchise, offers instructor-led gym classes for kids ages 4 months to 12 years, along with birthday parties, seasonal day camps, and drop-off events such as Kids Night Out. They say that the programs follow a developmental curriculum that blends skill-based learning with physical activity, providing a “safe, engaging space where children can build strength, stay active, and form lasting friendships,” according to their website.
Owners Chris and Becca, along with their three children, are bringing the first Tumbles to the Seattle area.

“We know first-hand the realities of having kids in an urban environment and how wonderful it is to have places to move bodies, learn new things, and explore,” they wrote. “We look forward to Tumbles being a place for Seattle kids to enrich their lives through body movement and new learnings.”
Tumbles will also eventually offer STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) classes for kids.
No word yet on the exact opening date, but we’ll keep you updated.
