Sweet Mickey’s Candy Shoppe will host its 13th Annual Movie in the Park event this Wednesday, Aug. 13, featuring a free outdoor showing of Disney’s Coco.
Tijuana Tacos will open at 5:30 p.m. in the park, along with themed candy bags available for purchase from Sweet Mickey’s. The owner of the new Fremont pickleball court, Picklr, will also be on site offering a demonstration and answering questions.
Former City Council candidate Sergio Garcia will also attend to share details about an upcoming community event planned for late October.
The movie will start at 6:30 p.m. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to get a good spot, enjoy food, and take part in activities before the film begins.
“This annual tradition is a great way to meet fellow neighbors and enjoy a classic film with family and friends,” said Sweet Mickey’s owner Randy Brinker.
The event is free and open to the public.
