It’s time for the annual giant menorah lighting in Ballard.
This year’s event will happen on Dec. 14, beginning at 5:15 p.m. at Bergen Place in Ballard. The event will include latkes, fresh donuts, a gelt drop (chocolate coins), a balloon twister, and festive music. It’s open to all ages and is free to attend (though if you’re one of the first 25 to RSVP here, you’ll get some special Chanukah swag).

The menorah lighting in Ballard is one of several of the Chabad’s events for Chanukah. They’re also hosting an event called the Phinney Chanukah Village on Dec. 18 and Chanukah at the Kraken on Dec. 21.
