Over 70 Seattle restaurants, cafes, and bars—including over a dozen in Ballard—are donating a portion of their proceeds to support Minneapolis restaurants that plan to close and join a nationwide shutdown on Friday.
Ballard’s Spice Waala restaurant shared the fundraiser on social media: “Some of us will have whistles at our businesses for you to take. Some of us will have KYRI pamphlets. Some of us will have stickers to show your support. But most importantly, we will all be standing in solidarity with our industry members in Minneapolis.”
