Ballard Goodwill remodel to relocate entrance and expand sales floor

Goodwill is remodeling its Ballard store, with updates expected to be completed by May 1.

As part of the project, the store entrance will be relocated to the left of the current entrance, near the stairs from the parking lot. The interior layout will also be adjusted to align with the new entry point, and the sales floor will be expanded.

The store will remain open during construction, which is expected to be completed within two weeks. According to the organization, disruptions are expected to be minimal, though shoppers may encounter some dust during the work.

Donation operations will continue as usual and are not affected by the remodel. Goodwill also still operates its additional drop-off site at 1145 NW Market St.
