Magnolia Summerfest returns to Magnolia Playfield July 31 through Aug. 2, bringing three days of live music, family activities, food vendors and the annual Seafair parade to the neighborhood.
The festival will feature performances throughout the weekend, along with food trucks, a beer and wine garden, free kids’ crafts and games, bounce houses, an outdoor movie and other community activities. Organizers have also released the 2026 entertainment lineup and announced a new policy prohibiting personal pop-up tents on the playfield.
According to organizers, the change is intended to keep more of the shared field available for visitors and ensure the festival complies with fire safety and permitting requirements. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs or picnic blankets and make use of the event’s shared shade tents.
The festival takes place at Magnolia Playfield, W. Smith St. and 33rd Ave. W. Just like previous years, the Seafair parade route begins at the Magnolia Community Center, heads south on 34th Avenue West, turns east on West McGraw Street, and continues north on 32nd Avenue West to Albertsons.
