Art, music, beautiful flowers and vegetables took center stage at the Ballard Art in the Garden Festival all day Saturday. Two dozen local artists featured their work at the Ballard P-Patch off of 85th St. A full line-up of musicians entertained the crowd throughout the day. A great event, and terrific weather to boot.

Seagals, crabbers gather for memorial fundraiser

Yes, you read the headline correctly. The Seattle Seahawks Seagals will join “Deadliest Catch” captains and crew at Fishermen’s Terminal this Sunday in a fundraiser for the Fishermen’s Memorial. In fact, organizers claim that there will never been so many crewmembers from the show at the same event. That’s this Sunday, noon to 5 p.m.
