Ballard’s newest outdoor gear consignment store, Wonderland Gear Exchange, is now open for business.
The shop is located at 7750 15th Ave NW and sells all things outdoorsy — from ski boots to tents to raincoats to climbing shoes. They held a soft opening over the weekend, so we stopped by to check out the inventory.
The store is still expanding — they’re working on the kids’ zone and climbing section this week, and say they’re after more winter and ski gear for consignment. They had a soft opening over the weekend, and had dozens of people asking for used downhill skis, boots, poles and alpine touring skis.
Their hours are 10am to 8pm, and they will accept consigned gear during all business hours.
