Twice Sold Tales opens in new location on Market St.

The transition of Twice Sold Tales is complete, with the new store opening over the weekend at 1708 NW Market St.

The space used to be the home of Himalayan Treasure, which closed at the end of 2018.

Moving a bookstore is no small feat, especially when you have 20,000 books in your inventory. Owner John Watkins told My Ballard that he had some volunteers help out.

The bookstore had to move because their previous location, 2419 NW Market St, will soon be torn down to make way for a 170-unit apartment building.

Thanks Lauri, for the above photo!

    1. You might, but anyone who can read won’t. And by definition, those people are the same people who would go to a bookstore. So it’s really not a problem.
