Giant menorah lighting and gelt drop to be held at Leif Erikson Lodge due to cold temps

The menorah lighting and gelt drop planned tonight at Bergen Place Park have been moved to the Leif Erikson Lodge (2245 NW 57th St) due to freezing temperatures today.

Chabad of Northwest Seattle rabbi Yoni Levitin tells My Ballard that Leif Erikson Lodge will be the hub for activities tonight including the menorah lighting and gelt drop. They’ll still offer maps for folks who want to go on the Ballard scavenger hunt.

The event starts at 4 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
