Congratulations to Ballard High graduates

Tonight is graduation for the class of 2009. The Ballard High School commencement ceremony is at 8 p.m. at Memorial Stadium. There’s still another ten days for everyone else. The last day of school is June 19th.

Ballard loses KEXP Hood-to-Hood Challenge

KEXP isn’t coming to Ballard again this year. West Seattle has won the 4th Annual Hood-to-Hood challenge, a membership drive for the radio station. Last year, KEXP DJ’s and local bands played at several venues throughout Ballard for an entire day. This is Common Market playing at Cupcake Royale.
