Cookie’s Country Chicken has found a new home: They’ve moved from NW Market St to The Terminal shopping center at 907 NW Ballard Way.
Cookie’s, which first opened in Ballard in 2021, announced its plans to move back in September, saying that the impending development of 1744 NW Market St meant they needed to find a new home.
The new location, which is in the same shopping complex as the recently opened H-Mart, was previously occupied by Galos Flame Grilled Chicken. Owner Brian Chandler says the new space includes parking, outdoor seating, draft beer, large group seating, and multiple TVs for sports viewing.
Cookie’s former Ballard location sits adjacent to Sip & Ship, which, after 23 years in Ballard, is scheduled to close on December 24 because of the same upcoming development.
