Ballard Ave. hotel project on hold

A $14 million project to redevelop the Olympic Athletic Club and build a 4-story hotel next door is on hold, reports the Ballard News Tribune. The owners ran into financing issues due to the mortgage crisis, but they plan to sell their multi-million dollar home and start construction within six months.
