Tree removal underway on 8th Ave NW

Seattle Department of Transportation crews are removing the dead trees along 8th Ave. that didn’t survive last winter’s harsh weather. As we reported yesterday, the trees will be salvaged and sent to the Childrens PlayGarden project. Crews will work the rest of this week taking the trees out and wait until spring to replace them.
